David Clements is a Sergeant for the Los Angeles Port Police Department. He has been employed by the Port Police Department for 12 years and has been assigned to Maritime Operations for the last 8 years. During his tenure he has supervised the Marine Unit, Dive Team and Sea Marshal Unit. He currently holds certifications for public safety diving, maritime tactical operations and water safety and survival. In addition, Sgt. Clements is a member of the Department’s force training staff and is a certified defensive tactics / less lethal instructor. He is responsible for departmental force training and is an instructor at the Port’s Maritime Law Enforcement Training Center (MLETC).
